It was August 29 th 1959 that Myrtle Gayle and Fitz Deacon gave birth to a bouncing baby girl whom they named Sherda Pamella Deacon, better known to us as “Deacs”. This baby girl grew up to become a very astounding woman whose personality radiates strength and character.
Sherda came to our organization in 1993. Since this time she has been a stalwart in exercising her duties and in ensuring that staff members are able to work in a clean and conducive environment. She gives of herself willingly in contributing to the overall growth and development of the organization and is always willing to participate in Department activities. In addition to this she is a very charming and caring individual who is always willing to give a helping hand and offer words of advice to those in need.
Being the selfless person that she is, her favorite activity is to spend time with her family and cooking, with her main ambition in life being, to see success of the “apple of her eye”, her son Desmond.
May we all aspire to be the person that she is as we say hats off to our employee of the quarter for January-March 2006 Miss Sherda Pamella Deacon.
