Administrator-General & Chief Executive Officer

Lona Brown was first appointed as Administrator-General on April 1, 1996. On November 1, 1998 she was named as Chief Executive Officer and Administrator-General in preparation for the Administrator-General’s Department achieving Executive Agency status on April 1, 1999. Mrs. Brown is an Attorney-at-Law with over twenty years experience at the Jamaican Bar.

 

Deputy Administrator-General

On April 1st, 1999, when the department became an Executive Agency Andrew Gyles, an Attorney-at-Law, was appointed as Senior Legal Executive. His prior service with the Department commenced on April 2, 1991.

Effective July 1st 2004 he was appointed as Deputy Administrator-General.

Mr. Gyles, who possesses over twenty five years experience as an Attorney-at-Law, has been a career civil servant.

Finance & Asset Management Executive (F.A.M.E.)

Raymond Neita joined the Department on the 1st December, 1996 in the post of Director of Finance and Accounts. He was appointed Finance & Asset Management Executive on the 1st April, 1999 with the transition of the Department to an Executive Agency. He had over six years prior service in the Public Sector when he joined the Department.

 

Human Resource & Administration Executive

Mary J. Cresser joined the Administrator General's Department as Human Resource Manager on April 1, 1999, the date the Department commenced operation as an Executive Agency. On August 1, 2000 she was appointed as Human Resource and Administration Executive, following a corporate re-structuring. Mrs. Cresser has over twenty-five years experience in the field of Human Resource Management.
